Would be cool if it didn't pause so often. More action.

xLite responds:

Yeah, Killego 2 is gonna be much longer.

This is definitely one of the better games I've played on Newgrounds.com
The controls were a bit tricky to understand at first and it took me awhile to realize I should press the E button to learn more about the buildings after my first few failures. Overall I think this game is a step up from Sim City. I actually had fun playing this game. If you added a high score keeper or leaderboard it would add a lot of replayability to this already good game.

cityrain responds:

Hey! Thanks man! Good point you have there. We were thinking about a "achievement system" too. That would be sweeet =] There are some things to tune. You could keep an eye in our blog for news.

Very innovative and unique.

The sounds, music, and visuals blend in amazing with the game play that feels so amazingly unique.

Chaz responds:

Wow, thank you mate ^_^

Needs improvement.

The second I start the game I get the error: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at MotionCam()

ChromeShark responds:

I presume this is because your cam isnt set up. The instructions clearly say a functional webcam is necessary!

I would make it so you can actually use the Windows XP simulator. Rather then just a bunch of errors. If this is a joke to trash XP... well it's not funny.

audi0surfvalve responds:

The errors were just from lack of patience, i have to do other things with my time currently

Good game.

I have to say I liked this game. The sounds that emitted from the bubbles just made me want to pop them all. By simply playing the game I was creating music of a sort. So while I had more fun with this game then most of the same genre I still find it lacking any real replayability. Perhaps paired along with other simple games it would be more appealing.

GameBalance responds:

any suggestions?

Sort of interesting.

Nothing is as interesting to me as a dystopian future. I tried out the first chapter and it was well... mostly interesting. All of the characters seem incredibly flat and predictable and I just can't take the voice of Jack Dreely seriously. Besides the CEO and Dekker I couldn't really hear any emotion in anyone's voice, but then again perhaps being soulless employees of a death dealing company does that to you. I still find the story some what interesting, but I think it would be more enjoyable if I was reading it rather then listening to it.

gumOnShoe responds:

I totally understand, however, you should still give the next few episodes a chance. I promise you it gets better. Most of our actors weren't used to voice acting, as such the first episode didn't turn out perfect, but we all got in to stride later. KEEP GOING FORWARD!

Eh'hem... well...

I would of rated this a 3/10 rather then a 1/10, but then I realized that this game has done before so I had to marks off due to lack of innovation.
'Why the small score to begin with!?' Well let's see shall we?
While I did enjoy the retro sounds and visuals that was merely working off of my nostalgia for OTHER games that I had previously played. The music gets very repetitive after awhile so I had to mute it in order to find something more amusing to listen to.
'Such a bad score for just visuals and music? What about the game!?' Slow down slow down. Where was I? Oh yes. I would've only marked down slightly for such things. A game is meant to be entertaining and that is what I truly look for. Unfortunately this game does not deliver. After a mere few seconds into the game it becomes apparent that nothing new is gonna be thrown at you save for a speed increase. Once you reach max speed you're just showered in points that don't really require any skill to combo into each other.
Lastly the game is easily exploitable. By shrinking down to about mid size and dragging the mouse off the screen your character becomes untouchable. While you gain no points while being 'untouchable' you also can't die. Therefor you can simply start up the game, go 'untouchable', wait a few minutes, and come back to be showered in points. Another flaw would be that where ever you bring the mouse to, after taking it off the screen, your character instantly teleports there. Allowing you to avoid the obstacles of the game all together.
The only thing that kept me playing the game as long as I did was the leaderboards, which I hit 49th in with 9223600 points, but that is possibly just showing the list of people who are most willing to waste their time. Seeing as they probably all use the exploits, which make the obstacles almost non-existent, the game just becomes: How long you willing to collect points until you're bored?
